Pi Day
Pi and Pie
Of course every March 14 there is Pie! And Pi!
And isn’t it interesting that God made this ratio to begin with! I wonder if He thought…there should be pie! And somehow that turned into…there will be Pi!
Everything is interconnected. The mathematical ratio of diameter, the distance through, and circumference, the distance around. Perfectly represented in our current day pie. A 9 inch diameter pie has roughly a 28 inch circumference, that’s a lot of goodness to gobble up!
Math and shapes, math embedded everywhere in the world, the world as roughly a sphere. The number itself is endless, going on forever, a numbered representation of eternity, as if God could be found in a ratio.
It’s a wonder, really, how our daily lives run on numbers, how those numbers interact, mean something abstract and create concretely. I suspect a snack of pie might not represent the complex simplicity of it all, but it just might!
