Academics are never in isolation. Everything is interconnected, physically and spiritually.

Learning isn’t something that happens in school, learning occurs everywhere.

Jesus is the center of everything we can know. Wow!

Although we use a curriculum we are flexible in our instruction to capture the moment to make connections back to Jesus. Paul said to the Colossians, “by Him all things were created, both in the heavens, and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or ruler or authorities - all things have been created through Him and for Him.” (Col. 1:16) Paul was talking not just about physical creation, but what exists in heavenlies as well.

As we learn more about earth creation, how to read, think mathematically, explore this world we can learn more about how this all spiritually applies to us. Within all that content is a connection to Jesus. We do not learn academic disciplines to simply ‘know stuff’. We learn it so that we can apply it to Jesus and His Kingdom here, to know Him and to understand His ways. All academics point to the creator, and we explore those connections so they become clear.

Everything is connected and Jesus holds it all together.
